Project
In my photo series, I want to show what goes on around a cycling race and who hides behind the cyclist Mieke Docx. I do this by shifting the focus between details and action, allowing sports and documentary images to complement each other. I started from pure sports photography but throughout the series I increasingly focused on the person Mieke. A gentle personality who gives a lot for her sport and just as much for her fans, DAS MIEKE.
