Nikki Coeman is a student with a strong interest in photography and visual thinking. In her work, she starts from an observant and intuitive gaze at her surroundings, approaching the everyday with attention. For her, photography is not a fixed role, but primarily a way of looking and slowing down for a moment in a world that often moves fast. From that creative and photographic perspective, she wants to continue growing and carry it with her in her own way into her life and future career.
Project
In wat er al was stems from the need to slow down in a world that constantly moves forward. The project shows photographic snapshots from my everyday life, where my gaze focuses on what often goes unnoticed: light, shadow, and small, fleeting moments. It's not a search for a new reality, but an invitation to look differently and consciously slow down. Because that's exactly where the beauty lies: in what was already there.
