With experiment and intuition at the forefront, I explored what remains when constructed layers of identity disappear. The style in which I photograph is strongly influenced by certain music, the tension, rawness and emotional charge it carries shapes the atmosphere I seek in my images.
Project
Inspired by existential thought, liminality and dissociation, this project explores what remains when the constructed layers of identity unravel. Form, structure and identity dissolve into nameless presence. What remains is not an essence, but an unstable state between appearing and disappearing.
Drawing on The Passion According to G.H. by Clarice Lispector, I attempt to translate this experience into images without reducing it to a single meaning.
